There was not a dull moment at the Horman's Best Pickles tent at the 34th annual Greenlawn-Centerport Historical Association Pickle Festival Saturday.
The Glen Cove-based company has established itself as one of the best, and likely most creatively-branded, indie pickle purveyors in the area marching to their own drum and the slogan "Think. Question. Pickle."
Perhaps having heard the word on the street, festival attendees shuffled on lines ten deep. Most walked away with at least three containers of mashups like 'red flannel,' honey mustard, and horseradish.
