GMA Karate & Kickboxing Opens in Glen Cove
GMA Martial Arts & Life Skills and iLoveKickboxing.com combine and open in larger, renovated space on Cedar Swamp Road.
GMA Karate & Kickboxing opened held the grand opening of their new location at 4 Cedar Swamp Road on Nov. 16.
GMA Martial Arts & Life Skills and iLoveKickboxing.com, both previously located at 275 Glen Street, combined to open the new location behind Retro Fitness. The new space is fully-renovated and five times larger.
Ms. Mary Stanco of the Glen Cove Chamber of Commerce along with representatives from the city, county, and state gathered with members of the Karate and Kickboxing studios to celebrate its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

"I am proud to have a top-of-the-line facility along with a top-notch team ready to serve members of Glen Cove and surrounding communities," said Sensei Hender Alvarado, owner of both businesses.
GMA Karate teaches children and teens discipline, increases confidence, and improves physical fitness and self-defense skills through the martial arts. Their iLoveKickboxing.com program allows adults to burn fat and tone muscle in a fun, family-oriented environment.
