Help Wanted: Job Postings in Glen Cove

is seeking assistant store managers. Candidates must have a minimum of three years retail experience. 

Journeyman/Mechanic 

is seeking a journeyman for general maintenance and engineering. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least five years of mechanic experience in a related field.

Maintenance Technician

is seeking a maintenance technician. Candidates must have at least three years of experiencee in apartment maintenance or related field. Candidates must also have HVAC experience and CFC Certifications.

Sales Representative 

is seeking sales representative to sell auto, home and life insurance. The candidate must have a bachelors degree or 16 years of experience to qualify. Position includes full benefits.

Social Workers

is seeking a per diem social worker and a full-time social worker. Candidates must have a Master's Degree in social work and a New York State LMSW licensure to qualify. 

Driver

A Glen Cove family is seeking a responsible individual to drive a 10-year-old child to school as needed, one to three times a week, between 7:45 and 8:30 a.m. Candidates must be a non-smoker, have a high school diploma and their own reliable transportation to qualify.

Counter Help 

 is still seeking experienced counter help to work with customers fulfilling orders for bagel and lunch sandwiches and salads. The candidate must have experience working in a deli and should be familiar with basic cooking techniques, safe use of a cold cut slicer, and types of breads and sandwich meats. Applicants must be able to work flexible hours. The store is open 5 a.m. to 8 p.m., days and weekends. 

After School Program Coordinator

 is seeking a responsible, energetic and detail-oriented program coordinator to implement daily program schedule, supervise part-time staff, and plan and carryout various special events and field trips for school-aged children (ages six to 12).

Technology Instructor

 is seeking an experienced part-time technology instructor to design and plan a technology program for six to 18-year-old youths. Hours are Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Candidate should be knowledgeable in digital arts and have experience working with children.

Shift Supervisor
