 – a move which follows Long Island and county-wide trends – there are a variety of employment opportunities this week in Glen Cove. Here are just some of the job listings in the area.

Counter Help 

 is still seeking experienced counter help to work with customers fulfilling orders for bagel and lunch sandwiches and salads. The candidate must have experience working in a deli and should be familiar with basic cooking techniques, safe use of a cold cut slicer, and types of breads and sandwich meats. Applicants must be able to work flexible hours. The store is open 5 a.m. to 8 p.m., days and weekends. 

After School Program Coordinator

is seeking a responsible, energetic and detail-oriented program coordinator to implement daily program schedule, supervise part-time staff, and plan and carryout various special events and field trips for school-aged children (ages six to 12).

Barista 

 is seeking full-time and part-time baristas and managers. Candidates must be reliable, responsible coffee-lovers.

Technology Instructor

 is seeking an experienced part-time technology instructor to design and plan a technology program for six to 18-year-old youths. Hours are Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Candidate should be knowledgeable in digital arts and have experience working with children

Cashier 

is seeking experienced cashiers to work the front of the store and provide customer service. Candidates must have excellent communication skills and be able to work a flexible schedule.

Medical Records Coder-Cert

 is seeking a full-time certified coding specialist for ambulatory surgery to analyze and interpret medical records, perform coding and abstracting duties to assure accurate completion of coding, log discharges, enter data and verify the discharge physician for all coded records, serve as an onsite resource for both inpatient and outpatient coding issues, and maintain an understanding of both inpatient and outpatient payment systems.

Medical Assistant

 is seeking a full-time certified medical assistant to work 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. shift.

Babysitter 

A Glen Cove family is seeking an experienced babysitter to look after a 17-month-old child and a 9-year-old child for a few hours on Friday or Saturday night, with the occasional overnight stay. Candidate should have reliable transportation. Non-smokers only.

Service Agent

in Glen Cove is seeking a part-time service agent to clean interior and exterior of vehicles, keep cleaning supply  inventory and perform other miscellaneous duties. Candidates must speak, read and write English, have a valid driver's license with a clean record and must be authorized to work in United States.

Administrative Assistant

A small Glen Cove sales office is seeking an experienced full-time administrative assistant. Applicant must have a Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience  and excellent computer and communication skills.
