Long Island Venues Offer Gay Wedding Promotions

Packages are part of the I Love New York campaign.

Several Long Island venues are offering gay wedding packages, and are featured on I Love New York, which lists online the tourism promotions

According to the website, the following venues are offering specials in our region. 

Glen Cove Mansion Hotel and Conference Centerin Glen Cove is featuring a “Show your Pride” wedding package. Glen Cove Mansion is waiving the ceremony fee and including a butler style champagne at wedding event, either ceremony or reception. To celebrate each LGBT couple’s first anniversary in 2012, Glen Cove Mansion is welcoming them back for a complimentary overnight accommodation. Glen Cove Mansion will provide the couple with breakfast for two and a celebratory bottle of champagne.

Hilton Long Island/Huntington in Melville is offering a “Make it Official” package, which includes customized menu, deluxe open bar, complimentary ceremony space, complimentary suite, complimentary rooms for the guests of your choice, discounted room rates for out of town guests and more. Mention you want to make it “Official” and your breakfast is on them for the next morning for up to 25 people. Minimum booking requirements may apply.

in Port Jefferson is offering a 10 percent discount to all couples in celebration of the new legislation. Ask for the Rainbow Pride Wedding Reception. Outdoor ceremonies and cocktail hours. Intimate events or up to 175 guests. Rehearsal dinner and after wedding breakfast. Overnight accommodations for you and your guests.

 in Long Beach is offering a“Rainbow Package,” featuring customized weddings that could include a ballroom banquet, a sunset cocktail party or beachfront lobster bake. Ask for the “Two Hearts Package” or “Rainbow Package.”

Crowne Plaza Hotel in Holtsville is offering a “Save the Date 7-24-11” cocktail reception.
