Hope we don't lose more downtown things are getting bad people need to frequent the stores more or we will have nothing but bodegas seems like they are the only busy places.

A taco joint, partially funded by tax payers, new owners should be ethnic to add diversity, and also the business should get tax breaks and other perks....All profits should be sent off the Island and out of the country.....For some reason within the last 15 years, western union has reported more money being sent out of Glen cove like never before...Are the citizens of Glen cove there to eventually retire or just use it as temporary work and temporary stay..classrooms with 10 children in a class of 25 students that have parents who pay school tax... Its simple math and its one of many Glen cove orgs that spend more money then they bring in...Its killing tax paying residents, and to ask for any kind of law and order or fairness is considered racist and a non issue...

I would love to see our business, Concierge Wellness, teach and offer options for people for healthier living through informed diet and lifestyle choices. My wife has been teaching natural lifestyle medicine for almost 30 years and I am a holistic podiatrist in practice over 30 years helping patients to heal from chronic foot and ankle pain and diabetic complications. Why do we think another business, or for that matter any new business will survive in Glen Cove.. What can we offer to entice those who wish to open business in our city?
