Valensisi said he makes his pancakes from scratch, no mix. The banana, strawberry shortcake and blueberry are among the most popular varieties, he said, but all pancakes can be made to order; whipped cream, glaze, dusted with granulated or confectioner's sugar - whatever the customer's delight.
Reader Jeff Renaldo was clear about his favorite on Glen Cove Patch's Facebook page: "Henry's banana stack...nuff said," he wrote.
