Visiting Youth Bureau and Boys & Girls Club
Delia was glad for the chance to visit with two wonderful youth organizations last week.
Thursday was the Glen Cove Youth Bureau fall festival last week! Delia DeRiggi-Whitton - Nassau County Legislator is a big supporter of youth services and salutes the hard work of our Youth Board / Youth Bureau.
Later the same day, Delia was pleased to participate in Lights on After School at Glen Cove Boys & Girls Club.
She learned from the club that Governor Andrew Cuomo issued an official proclamation making Oct. 17#LightsOnAfterschool Day! More info on Lights On Afterschool and the programs that keep our kids safe, inspire learning and help working families in New York:

Delia De Riggi-Whitton is serving her first term as Nassau County Legislator. Through redistricting, Delia will be the incumbent Legislator in a new 11th LD, which incorporates Port Washington, Roslyn, Roslyn Harbor, Sea Cliff and Glen Cove. She is getting to know this new district while serving Glen Cove, Sea Cliff, Bayville, Locust Valley, Brookville, Glen Head, Greenvale and Jericho.
