Looking to have an intimate, upscale night out with a significant other, or perhaps a large celebration at an elegant venue? This local establishment - conveniently located on Glen Street - has exactly what you need.

The wait staff is attentive; the ambiance, exquisite. In addition to decorative tablecloths and fine silverware, there are beautiful paintings, sketches and photographs on display throughout the restaurant. In fact, they are the works of talented local artists who allow their respective pieces to be exhibited at Epiphany for an agreed period of time, according to their Web site. Interested clientele may even purchase an artwork, as it is on consignment.

As a recurring customer of over six years, it can honestly be said: Epiphany’s food is some of the most consistently delicious ever consumed.

They specialize in classic Italian dishes. The Braised Short Ribs of Beef remains a family favorite. The fork-tender short ribs over the smooth, but rich, polenta is ready to satisfy any palate. However, patrons could never go wrong with their Penne Alla Vodka (a personal all-time favorite) which is delicate, yet flavorful.

For salad fans, try Epiphany’s Tre Colore. It is served with shards of cheese (not grated) which make it all the more pleasing.
