Sandy Hits Glen Cove: Share Your Photos

The City of Glen Cove began preparing for Huricane Sandy's impact last week, with Mayor Ralph Suozzi declaring a state of emergency effective 6 a.m. on Saturday, with residents in certain waterfront areas ordered to evacuate by Monday morning.

Duke Place & part of Porter Place had power Friday but lost all power Sunday night - LIPA crews sent tree cutter away and supposedly started work then left without completing work -leaving us with no power! More of LIPA pitiful work! Cannot something be done?????

This is an excellent way to get rid of every pill/elixir or whatever that you no longer use. VeryRead More simple, drive in drop your stuff in the receptacle and leave. Great program and good job to those running it.
