Investigation Continues On Milford Lane

Police have blocked off a street in Glen Cove where on two bodies were discovered Wednesday on a secluded block at 13 Milford Lane.

A man who described himself as a neighbor confirmed that an elderly woman and her son lived in the house. He described the property as overgrown, adding that there were lots of cars. At about 11:15 a.m., police allowed animal rescue vehicles on the block.

On Wednesday, Nassau County police said Adult Protective Services received a call to check on occupants of the Milford Lane home. When no one answered the door, Glen Cove Police and Glen Cove Fire Department entered the home and discovered two bodies.

At this time Nassau County police are assisting Glen Cove police with the investigation. Police expect to release more information this afternoon, pending autopsy results and notification of next of kin.
