March 19: Stango's Reopens for Business

  1. A 25-minute film about Tanzanite, a gem rarer than diamonds, plays at 11 a.m., 12 and 2 p.m. at Garvies Point Museum & Preserve.
  2. Great Operatic Voices of the Modern Era will be presented at the Glen Cove Public Library at 2 p.m.
  3. Stango's Restaurant reopens as Stango's at the Orchard at 5 p.m.
  4. The Glen Cove Public Library's Board of Trustees meeting is at 6:45 p.m. in the History Room.
  5. SAFE, Inc. presents a Parent University educational session on bullying at Connolly Elementary School at 7:30 p.m.
