March 7: Garden Lecture, Poetry Reading

Five things to know about or do today in Glen Cove.

  1. Free tax help from AARP volunteers is available at the Glen Cove Public Library from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
  2. A free lecture on gardening for all seasons will be given at the Gold Coast Public Library at 2 p.m.
  3. Children ages 3 - 6 and teens ages 14 - 18 are invited to read together for the Book Buddies program at Gold Coast Public Library at 4 p.m.
  4. Eco-Photo Explorers present the story of the Titanic and the search for her remains from 7 - 8:30 p.m.
  5. Nepalese poet Yuyutsu Sharma will be at the Bards Initiative poetry reading at Page One Restaurant at 7:30 p.m., no cover.
