1. With Thanksgiving just weeks away, there is plenty of opportunity to give back to the community. From now until Nov. 18., you can stop by the , , , or  at 10 a.m. to donate nonperishables for the Thanksgiving Food Drive. Gift certificates and cash donation will also be accepted.

2. There is something for everyone at the  today. Take the young ones, 2-3 year-olds with adults, down to the Children's Room at 10:30 a.m. for an interactive toddler story time. Head down at 2 p.m. for  for a lesson on writing, structure and approach to get you started on your autobiography.

3. Interested in creating wearable art? Sign up for the  at , offered Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. or 1 p.m.-4 p.m.

4. On Deck for 2 p.m.: Glen Cove Artists Join International Group in Multimedia Exhibition.
