PHOTOS: Pearl Harbor Remembered at Holocaust Center

Sen. Marcellino was among the guests who joined in commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attack, at the Holocaust Center in Glen Cove.

The hosted a commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attack Sunday.

State Sen. Carl Marcellino helped in honoring America's heroes at the center, along with Assemb. Charles Lavine, Lt. Col. Gregory Wynn of the United States Marine Corps, Liberators and a survivor of Mauthausen concentration camp.

Following the Marine Corps Color Guard’s presentation of the national colors, survivors shared personal accounts of the final days of the Holocaust, according to a news release.

“This program highlights the importance of lessons; the reason why we are here today, and what the Holocaust Memorial & Tolerance Center does every day,” Wynn said.
