Poll: School Board Elections

Two incumbents and three newcomers are running for three open seats.

A lawyer, a mother of six and a realtor threw their hats in the ring for a seat on the school board this year.

Board vice president David Huggins and trustee Gail Nedbor-Gross are running for reelection, with a third seat opened by the end of board president Richard Maccarone's term.

The issues such as tax increases, special education, honors programs and civil discourse between board members as being important to them.

I voted for the two incumbents: Huggins and Nedbor-Gross, and for Grace Slezak. I also voted 'NO' on the budget.
