Shelter Animals of the Week: Xander and Willow

Xander and Willow are five month-old Domestic Short Hair cats. They are siblings and were found in the Glen Cove area as babies. Buffy, their sister, was adopted almost immediately. But Xander and Willow are still in need a home. 

Xander is black and white and Willow is almost all black except for a couple spots above her eyes and on her belly. Their bone structure is what animal enthusiasts call an Oriental line. They are beautiful, playful, and get along very well with one another.

"They are very adoptable," said staff. "They make a great team." Both are neutered and spade and have all their shots.

This dynamic duo love to play together. While Xander's personality is a little more subdued, Willow is more energetic. However, their unique qualities complement each other. They should make a really nice addition to any home.

Glen Cove Animal Shelter staff is hoping the pair is adopted soon, and preferably together.
