Tell Us: School Crossing Safety

Should additional safety measures be taken to keep pedestrians safe between North Shore High School and Middle School?

Four people were seriously hurt Friday when a car that was allegedly speeding southbound on Glen Cove Ave. struck a teacher crossing the street in front of North Shore High School before slamming head-on into another car.

The spot is a common crossing point for students going to and leaving school and visiting the bagel store across the street, and for faculty traveling on foot between the middle school and high school.

Should any safety measures be added there? What would you like to see happen? Tell us in the comments section.
