Mejias Campaigns for Suozzi at Penn Station
The long-time Suozzi supporter targeted commuters heading home from New York City.
With time winding down on Election Day, former Nassau County Legis. Dave Mejias made his way to Penn Station, where he aimed to win over commuter votes for former County Executive Tom Suozzi in Manhattan.
Suozzi is looking to win back the job he had from 2001 to 2009, when he was upset by current Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano.
Mejias, a key Suozzi ally during his time in the Legislature, is now a partner at the Glen Cove law firm Mejias Milgrim & Alvarado.
Polls close at 9 p.m. in New York.
