Legendary Armstrong Jazz Pianist to perform in Glen Cove

Friday, Dec. 7th, the Glen Cove, NY Regency will host its “Jazz Club Series” at 7PM featuring jazz legend, Marty Napoleon and The Marty Napoleon trio.


Mr. Napoleon, is still actively playing in his 90s. During his long career he performed with luminaries such as Louis Armstrong, Gene Krupa, Coleman Hawkins, Buddy Rich and Jack Teagarden. 


Napoleon’s December 7th trio will include bassist, raconteur and Jazz authority Bill Crow – whose musical partners have included: Marian McPartland, Benny Goodman, Gerry Milligan, Dizzy Gillespie.  Drummer Ray Mosca rounds out the trio. Mr. Mosca’s collaborators have included George Shearing, Chet Baker, Doc Cheatham and Dorothy Donegan.
