The Art of Grandma Moses
Presented by Emilia Rabito Baer
Anna Mary Robertson Moses, also known as “Grandma Moses”, was a renowned American folk artist. Her paintings were often used to publicize holidays and her images of America’s rural past were transferred to curtains, cookie jars and other household items. Join us at the Glen Cove Library as lecturer, teacher and award-winning artist, Emilia Rabito Baer, offers a slide-lecture presentation focusing on the work of this self-taught artist.
