The Red Fox on the North Shore

Frank Vincenti, Director of the Wild Dog Foundation, presents an illustrated presentation on the red fox, Long Island’s most common carnivore and fascinating member of the dog (Canidae) family.  Mr. Vincenti will discuss the red fox’s characteristics, life cycle, behavior and habitat.  Discover how and why foxes are making a comeback on the Island and learn about the grey fox, which was once seen in abundance here on Long Island.
