Former Glen Cove Resident Exhibits at Unique Art/Business Seminar
Award-winning artist, Ruth Poniarski will exhibit her fine art paintings at The Amsterdam of Harborside, in Port Washington beginning August 6th through August 11th. Heckscher Museum CEO/Director Dr. Michael Schantz and Huntington based Art League of LI CEO Charlee Miller will be the featured speakers at a unique seminar entitled “The Business of Art” on August 8, 2013. Dr. Schantz will speak on “The Business of Museums- Their Impact on Communities’ Economic Development.” Ms. Miller will speak on “Art as a Marketing Tool for Business.” Regina Gil, E.D. of the Great Neck Arts Center, will speak on “Art as a Community Revitalization Tool.” The seminar is a unique collaboration of government, business, not for profits and art.
