Glen Cove Hospital Auxiliary to hold Restaurant and Wine Tasting Event

Share a glass of wine and sample eclectic foods of some of the North Shore's finest restaurants at Glen Cove Hospital's Restaurant and Wine Tasting fundraising event on Tuesday, June 29 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Webb Institute, located on Crescent Beach Road, Glen Cove, overlooking the Long Island Sound.  Sponsored by the hospital's volunteer Auxiliary organization, proceeds from the event will benefit cancer care services at Glen Cove.

            Local restaurants participating in the event include: Wild Honey, Epiphany, Page One, Brass Rail, Stango's, La Bussola, Big Apple Barbeque, Coach Grill, Mill Creek Inn, Basil Leaf, The Downtown Café, North Shore Farms, Bernards and Roots of Sea Cliff.  Marquis Wines and Spirits will serve wine from a variety of wineries of the region.

            Another exciting aspect of the evening will be a variety of raffles and prizes.  The Auxiliary is accepting donations of basket and raffle items such as small gifts, gift cards, and tickets for sporting, theater or movie events.  To make a donation, please contact Julie Albin of the Auxiliary at (516) 676-6664.  With proceeds from ticket sales and raffles, the Auxiliary expects to make a large contribution towards a state-of-the-art digital mammography machine at Glen Cove Hospital.
