SCO Family of Services to Receive $25k in Donations

Backing from Henry Schein Cares will help this Glen Cove organization support children living in foster care.

Glen Cove-based SCO Family of Services has announced that it will receive $25,000-worth of donations in the form of healthcare products, thanks to Henry Schein Cares, the global social responsibility program of Henry Schein.

The donation will enable SCO to help young children off to a good start, launch youth into adulthood, stabilize and strengthen families and unlock potential in those with special needs throughout Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island.

“We are very thankful for Henry Schein Cares’ generous donation of $25,000 worth of health care items," SCO Executive Director Gail Nayowith said, in a statement. "This donation will help us to provide for the physical well-being of more than 1,600 children and youth living in foster care each year.”

She added, “Together, we are helping health happen.”
