Fifth-grade students at Connolly and Landing elementary schools and eighth-graders at Finley Middle School took the first step in the next chapter of their lives as moving up ceremonies were held to celebrate the accomplishments of these students and send them off to their next school in a special way. Elementary schools recognized the special talents of their students and also presented the Presidential Silver and Gold Certificates of Achievement, as well as the Attorney General’s Triple C Award, among other honors. Deasy and Gribbin schools also held celebrations for their second grade students.
