E-Waste Recycling is Saturday in Glen Cove

A chance to rid your home of unwanted electronics.

On Saturday, Glen Cove residents can rid their homes of E-Waste – that is, electronic waste – in a recycling event from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Progressive Waste Solutions facility on Morris Avenue.

“I urge our city’s residents to bring computer monitors, hard drives, printers, keyboards, mice and cables, copiers, fax machines, cell phones, pagers, VCRs, stereos, televisions, and electronic games they no longer want for proper disposal,” said  Mayor Reginald Spinello.

Residents are asked not to bring microwaves and small household appliances to the E-Waste program.
