Plainview's Lou Imbroto was honored by the Huntington Chamber of Commerce recently as one of Long Island's "30 Under 30" at this year's Celebrate Long Island's Young Professionals event.
Imbroto lives in Plainview and is an associate attorney with the law firm Berkman, Henoch Peterson, Peddy & Fenchel.
The event honors Long Island's top 30 professionals under the age of 30 years old.
Imbroto made a highly visible but unsuccessful attempt last year as a Republican to unseat Charles Lavine, D-Glen Cove, for a seat on state Assembly from the 13th District.
