I Ask for Your Vote

Lou Imbroto is running for the State Assembly in the 13th District.

In the Wake of Hurricane Sandy and the destruction it has wrought across Long Island, I know that politics is the last thing on our minds right now. However, I wanted to remind you that Election Day is still this Tuesday, Nov. 6, and I need your support so that I can continue to fight for a better Long Island.

Let’s take a moment to reflect on what is at stake. Thousands are being driven off Long Island each year by crushing property taxes and lack of good jobs. Poor leadership in Albany has allowed taxes to creep up over the years and New York is consistently rated as one of the worst states in the country to do business. We desperately need a change.

As your Assemblyman, I will dedicate myself to restoring Long Island’s middle class and doing all in my power to reduce our severe property tax burden. I will focus on fixing New York’s school aid formulas so that Long Island’s schools can remain the best in the country without new tax increases, and I will fight to restore Long Island’s share of transportation funding, so that we can begin the process of repairing our crumbling roads, bridges, and infrastructure.

With your support, I will continue to fight for you, fight to keep Long Island a place where the middle class can thrive and fight to ensure that our families and our children can remain her eon Long Island for generations to come. I humbly request your vote on Nov. 6 so that I can have that chance to fight for you and for a better Long Island
