Started out okay—ended up disappointed.

First, the positives, they tiled 2 bathrooms, which turned out fine. They tiled the kitchen floor, which also turned out fine.

Where I was disappointed was the kitchen backsplash. We selected glass tiles. The backsplash alone took several visits and an entire month from start to finish (and it is a small kitchen) because:
• They didn’t initially grout
• Some tiles arrived broken
• They initially didn’t tile around the whole kitchen, which then required multiple tile orders and additional visits
• There was a piece of countertop that was unfinished

It felt like an attempt at a rush job. I kept asking them to come back. To their credit, they did come back. Unfortunately, I had to wait for more tiles to be ordered and then for the team to have the time to come back to finish the job.

To be fair, I could have been more explicit in the beginning, but as a customer who has never done this before, I think the professional should ask the right questions and take measurements before the job, rather than make their own decisions on what to tile and what not to tile. Some blame can also be placed on the contractor who could’ve helped to make this process more seamless.

In the end, I’m a little disappointed. After a month, it still looks a bit like a rush job.
