Gloria T. Zaino, who was born and raised in Glen Cove, died on June 2 at Bright View Assisted Living in Mount Laurel, NJ. She was 84.
Mrs. Zaino was the wife of the late Carmen A. "Sonny,” according to her obituary on the Dougherty Funeral Home website.
She is survived by her children Jacqueline R. Pastore of Upper Black Eddy, Pa., Richard F. Zaino (Rose L.) of South Jersey; and James C. Zaino (Vicki) of Levittown; as well as grandchildren Greg, Casey, Zachary, Nicholas and Olivia; and great-grandchildren, Greg Jr., Izzabela and Gavin.
Mrs. Zaino graduated Glen Cove High School and later settled in Levittown in 1956. She took pleasure in ceramics, bowling, and watching the Phillies, as well as visiting the Poconos and time spent with family, according to the obituary.
Visitation is from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, 8:30- 9:30 a.m. Friday, at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday, at Queen of the Universe Church, Levittown, followed by the Rite of Committal in Resurrection Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to American Red Cross, 2221 Chestnut St., Philadelphia, PA 19103.
