Kevin David O’Neil of Glen Head died suddenly on his 79th birthday, Dec. 4.
O'Neil, formerly of Waltham, MA worked at NBC News for over 40 years. He was a member of the John W. Mackay Council Knights of Columbus and member of the choir for St. Mary’s Church in Roslyn, according to his obituary.
He was the husband of Carolyn, father of Christopher, David and Leslie, and grandfather of Emily, Paige, Andrew, Hannah and Quincey.
Visiting Sunday 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. at Whitting Funeral Home, 300 Glen Cove Ave., Glen Head. Funeral Mass Monday 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s R.C. Church, Roslyn.
O'Neil will be buried at All Saints Cemetery in Great Neck. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association / American Stroke Association, P.O. Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005.
