Larry Curcio, WWII Vet, Dies at 89
Funeral service held for Glen Cove man at St. Rocco's Church on Monday.
WW II veteran Larry J. Curcio of Glen Cove died on November 22 at age 89.
Curcio was a shy but incredibly strong man, according to his obituary at Dodge Thomas Funeral Home.
He was the husband of the late Rose, father of Ernest (Lois), Anthony (Patti) and Lawrence, brother of Rocco, Frank and Theresa, grandfather of Shawn, Brian, Timothy and Lauren, and great-grandfather of Lane, Reece and Hannah. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass was held at the Church of St. Rocco Monday at 9 a.m. Curcio was buried at Locust Valley Cemetery.
