The Islanders are conducting open practices this week in anticipation of a strike-shortened season that will consist of about 50 games.
And it will be one of the last seasons in Nassau County: The NHL team is expected to move to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn after the 2014-15 season.
At this late date in the hockey season, we're wondering, do you even care?
Will Islanders' hockey will disappear from Long Island's consciousness or will the team's fans follow them to Brooklyn?
