He is a self-made man, serving 7 years in the Navy, and then educating himself to become a top-notch attorney. He has had his own law private law practice for over 25 years and employs 7 other attorneys plus supporting staff. He also knows what it is like to run a business.

John has excelled in every aspect of his life. His degrees were achieved with honors and his peers have ranked him as a "Preeminent Attorney". Throughout his life, he still found the time to help others in need, with memberships in numerous organizations and serving Pro Bono for the County Coalition Against Domestic Violence, and as a Member of the Board of Directors for the North Shore Sheltering Program. Now he has chosen to help a larger population by running for public office.
