The recent loss of power for many due to storms makes it imperative that one have a cell phone at full power. One reason I do not like the iPhone is that the battery is NOT interchangeable. If I am traveling, I can bring a spare back-up Blackberry battery very easily. I purchased this for less than $5.00 on line. 

And back by popular demand, the TIP OF THE WEEK: Gather all bar coded cards or key ring attachments and make a master photocopy or scan all together neatly. This will consolidate on one or two sheets and carry it in your wallet or pocketbook. Most bar code scanners can read the photocopy and one doesn't have to fuss finding a card.
