Good Week to Stock Up on Staples at Food Stores- Fuel @ $3.75 (Nat. Avg. $3.37)

Weekly newsletter for the North Shore of Long Island to update what is on sale (loss leaders) at the grocery stores and a section updates local gas prices

Pasta, soup, cooking oils, soaps and paper products headline the loss leaders this week. Once again minimum dollar spending is required for the favorable pricing.

Don't forget to click for individual store circulars for specific offers and pricing.

On the fuel price side, New York continues to be one of the highest prices in the nation. I was in California this week and surprisingly, gas prices were considerably less.
