As promised we did a sampling of area take out coffee retailers and have posted the results.The average price is about $2.25 plus tax for a take out 20 oz regular coffee. After Labor Day we plan to do a comparison of take out pizza prices.
Again this week the A&P owned Waldbaums and Pathmark have three day sales and Stop and Shop has paper coupons in the circulars that one needs to cut out to get the sale price. As prices continue to rise at the pump and at the grocery store we will do our best to alert for items to stock up. Interesting to note is this week there are virtually NO SALES on coffee, mayonnaise, soup, spaghetti sauce,canned goods but there are GOOD DEALS on OJ, laundry soap,ice cream,yogurts and beverages.
