"Sail away" really was a literal term this week if you were a weather forecaster .... Suggest you check on this week's sales for items needed for Memorial Day next weekend and the summer.  It is not a bad idea to check on the deals that both and Walgreens are running on food and kitchen/bathroom/laundry supplies. Loss leaders are usually better deals than shopping at Costco or BJ's. Specials are tied to coupons that are issued in current or previous Sunday newspaper inserts. Stock up on sun screen, bug repellent, paper goods, charcoal, etc. PHIL TIP: All New York State residents are entitled to a New York City Public library card. A great free resource is freegalmusic.com. With a library card from NYPL.org one may download 3 free songs per week from the vast Sony music library. Artists range from Britney Spears,Jimi Hendrix to Arthur Fiedler and the Pops and Sinatra. Next week we will post a special section on traffic tips and we will be carried weekly in Patch.
