Bandit Robs City's King Kullen

Police actively searching for man who they believe stole money from a Glen Cove grocery store.

A man robbed the King Kullen supermarket on Forest Avenue with an unspecified weapon Tuesday and fled the scene on foot, police said.

Glen Cove police officers are currently searching for the suspect and Nassau County police is helping city authorities investigate the incident. It is still unclear whether the suspect escaped with money.

The store is a part of a strip of businesses on one of the city's busiest thoroughfares, just near Robert M. Finley Middle School and Glen Cove Hospital
