Car Smashes Razzano's Storefront

No injuries in Thursday afternoon incident.

Glen Cove Police responded to an unusual scene Thursday after a car crashed through a Glen Street storefront.

A green Toyota Camry jumped the curb and came to rest with its front end jutting through the front window of A. Razzano's Salumeria Latticini around 3:30 p.m.

Police responded but no ambulance was called as there were no injuries, according to Glen Cove EMS Chief Matthew Venturino.

The front of the Italian imports store was boarded up once the vehicle was removed.

Patch will update this story as more information becomes available.

I think Glen Cove is a safe Haven city,,,,authorities look the other way when it comes to drives licenses...Its kinda of a hurry up and get where your going because if I arrest you or even try to find out who you are it will end up costing too much...

60% of the people who drive to every fast food place in glen cove to work......30% of the parents who drive their children to day school and public school if bus not provided.....10% of the landscapers, masons, and contractors....While that is horrible....the numbers seen at western union is more shocking....never has Glen Cove seen more dollars sent off the Island and out of the U.S.......It was a long time ago that when you hire someone that money is funneled back in the area, today no...
