Cops: Glen Cove Teens Charge with Gang Assault

Incident took place in Glenwood Landing.

Four Glen Cove men are facing charges for an assault that took place in Glenwood Landing on Saturday, March 8, at 10:50 p.m.

Nassau detectives say the four men were involved in a “physical altercation with several male victims,” ages 17-20, on Rams Hill Rd.

Two of the victims sustained lacerations and contusions to the face and refused medical attention, according to police.  Glenwood Fire Department Ambulance transported the third victim, who suffered a seizure and multiple cervical and facial fractures, to a local hospital where he has been admitted.

Third Squad detectives arrested all four teens on Sunday at their homes.

Facing charges of first and second degree gang assault are Artan and Adrian Berisha, both 16, of 10 Locust St; Elijah Watson, 17, of 10 Matthew Heights; and Ralik Jackson, 16, of 19 Putnam Ave.

The Berishas are also charged with third degree criminal mischief and third degree assault. 

All four are to be arraigned on Monday in First District Court, Hempstead.
