Crime Blotter: Evading Arrest, Drug Possession, Assault

The following information was supplied by the City of Glen Cove Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate a conviction.

The Glen Cove Police Department has declined to provide the names of the arrested.

 reported the following arrests from March 4 - March 10, 2012.

  • A 44-year-old female was arrested fortwo counts of first degree unlawful dealing with a child and permitting use of alcohol by persons under 21 on Hill street on March 4.
  • A 19-year-old male was arrested for ability impaired by drugs and unlawful possession of marijuana on Cottage Row on March 4.
  • A 59-year-old male was arrested for unlawful fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle, unlawful possession of marijuana, reckless driving and multiple traffic violations on March 4.
  • A 29-year-old male was arrested for DWI on Garvies Point Road on March 4.
  • A 41-year-old female was arrested for petit larceny on Red Spring Lane on March 5.
  • A 17-year-old male was arrested for third degree criminal trespass on McLoughlin Street on March 7.
  • A 43-year-old male was arrested on an open warrant for second degree criminal contempt on March 7.
  • A 20-year-old male was arrested for fifth degree criminal possession of marijuana on Sea Cliff Avenue on March 8.
  • A 23-year-old male was arrested for third degree assault on Capobianco Street on March 10.
  • A 46-year-old male was arrested for third degree robbery, fifth degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and fifth degree criminal possession of a controlled substance on March 10.
  • A 39-year-old male was arrested for third degree assault on McLoughlin Street on March 10.
