Crime Report: Assault, Contempt, DWI Charges

The following information was supplied by the City of Glen Cove Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate a conviction.

The Glen Cove Police Department has declined to provide the names of the arrested.

The reported the following arrests from Aug. 26 - Sept. 1, 2012.

A 43-year-old male was arrested for aggravated DWI, DWI and failure to maintain lane on Glen Street on Aug. 27.
A 16-year-old female was arrested for third-degree unauthorized use of a vehicle on Elm Avenue on Aug. 27.
An 18-year-old male was arrested for third-degree assault, third-degree menacing and fourth-degree criminal mischief on Fourth Street on Aug. 27.
A 26-year-old male was arrested for second-degree criminal contempt on Glen Cove Avenue on Aug. 27.
A 19-year-old male was arrested for seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance on Aug. 27.
A 26-year-old male was arrested for second-degree criminal contempt on Mason Drive on Aug. 28.
A 29-year-old male was arrested for fourth-degree criminal mischief on Dickson Street on Aug. 29.
A 39-year-old male was arrested for second-degree menacing on Sea Cliff Avenue on Aug. 29.
A 22-year-old female was arrested for making a punishable false written statement on Aug. 30.
A 29-year-old male was arrested for aggravated DWI, DWI and failure to maintain lane on Walnut Road on Sept. 1.
