Crime Report: Drug, DWI Charges

The following information was supplied by the City of Glen Cove Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate a conviction.

The Glen Cove Police Department has declined to provide the names of the arrested.

The  reported the following arrests from August 12 - August 18, 2012.

  • A 52-year-old male was arrested for third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation on Landing Road on August 12.
  • A 25-year-old male was arrested for DUI, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and open warrants on Old Tappan Road on August 12.
  • A 46-year-old female was arrested for DWI on Glen Street on August 13.
  • A 17-year-old male was arrested for fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana on Craft Avenue on August 15.
  • A 24-year-old male was arrested for third-degree menacing and obstruction of breathing on Duck Pond Road on August 15.
  • A 23-year-old male was arrested for second-degree criminal contempt on Herbhill Road on August 15.
  • A 25-year-old female was arrested for fourth-degree grand larceny on Forest Avenue on August 15.
  • A 24-year-old male was arrested on an open warrant for unlawful possession of marijuana on August 16.
  • A 33-year-old male was arrested for two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance on August 16.
  • A 37-year-old female was arrested for petit larceny on Glen Street on August 16.
  • A 25-year-old male was arrested for seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance on Cedar Swamp Road on August 17.
  • A 19-year-old male and a 55-year-old female were arrested for cruelty to animals on Eldridge Place on August 17.
  • A 24-year-old male was arrested for DWI on Glen Cove Road on August 18.
