Crime Report: Menacing, Drug Charges

The following information was supplied by the City of Glen Cove Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate a conviction.

The Glen Cove Police Department has declined to provide the names of the arrested.

The reported the following arrests from July 1 - July 7, 2012.

  • A 22-year-old male was arrested for DWI and traffic violations on Glen Street on July 1.
  • A 23-year-old male was arrested for third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation on Prospect Avenue on July 1.
  • A 47-year-old male was arrested for second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation on Bridge Street on July 3.
  • A 34-year-old male was arrested for first-degree attempted assault and second-degree menacing on Glen Street on July 4.
  • A 43-year-old male was arrested for an open warrant for third-degree menacing on July 6.
  • A 24-year-old male was arrested for two counts each of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, criminal sale of a controlled substance in/near school grounds and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance on July 6.
