Glen Cove Police Probe Dual Stabbing

Glen Cove Police answered a call for help early Thursday and found two men prone and bleeding on a driveway on Ford Street.

The call came in about 12:15 a.m., initially reported as a possible assault, and police arrived to find two men at 14 Ford Street lying on the driveway and bleeding from head and facial wounds.

Police said they are trying to determine who caused the injuries and the circumstances surrounding the attack. 

The victims, ages 43 and 31, were transported to Winthrop Hospital for treatment of their injuries.

Police will be re-interviewing thee victims when they are sufficiently recovered from their ordeal, authorities said. No charges have filed in the case so far.
