Glen Cove detectives seized 150 pounds of marijuana valued at $300,000 and arrested two men Monday following an investigation into suspicious packages at Mail Boxes Etc.

Glen Cove Police discovered two suspicious packages at the Mail Boxes Etc location at 5 Brewster Street in Glen Cove on Saturday and six more on Monday and called in a Nassau County drug-sniffing dog. When Larry Doss, 55, and his brother Ronny Windham, 52, both of Roosevelt, came to pick up the boxes, they were arrested and charged with first degree criminal possession of marijuana.

Doss and Windham will be arraigned tomorrow in First District Court in Hempstead.

More reason then ever to provide free test kits to parents paid for from asset forfeitures. ..just like Suffolk County's popular program. Every other day someone overdoses and dies in Nassau County. ..

Phil - nobody has ever overdosed or died from marijuana. If you want to test your kids, you can get a kit for $20 online.

The shipment must have taken up half the space in Mail Boxes Etc.

Roy Biggins: Nah man. No problem with marijuana man. It's just a gateway drug man. Duh! By the way Roy, Washington State just legalaized the sale of mary jane. However, like all governments do they are ging to tax the sale. And can you guess where that tax money is going? That's rightRoy, it's ging to go to research on the state's drug problem. How about that man?
