Glen Cove Woman Arrested For Sea Cliff Burglaries

A 23-year-old woman is charged with three break-ins that occurred during the summer.

A 23-year-old Glen Cove woman was arrested Thursday and charged with three burglaries that occurred in Sea Cliff and Glen Head in June and July, according to Nassau County police.

Patricia Bright, of 12A Janet Lane, is accused of entering the homes by cutting the screens on unlocked windows and leaving with jewelry and possibly other items, a press release stated.

Police reported the burglaries as follows:

  • June 21 at 2:30 p.m. on Downing Ave. - assorted jewelry stolen.
  • July 19 at 1 p.m. on Dogwood Lane, Glen Head - proceeds undetermined at this time.
  • July 23 at 12:15 p.m. on Laurel Ave. - jewelry stolen.

Bright was arrested after an investigation by the Third Squad and the department's Asset Forfeiture Task Force.

She is charged with three counts of second-degree burglary and will be arraigned Friday in First District court in Hempstead.
