Nassau County Police have listed 9 people as being the most wanted fugitives in the county, accusing them of crimes ranging from stealing a wallet with $200 in it to attempted murder. And unlike Suffolk County's Most Wanted, police in many cases have little more than a photo to identify these suspects. Click through our gallery above to see images and descriptions of the accused. Perhaps you can help authorities track them down.

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department. Nobody listed here has been convicted in court of these crimes.

1. Rishon McCallister
Criminal Contempt 1st Degree

On Sept. 26, 2013, cops said McCallister punched his ex-girlfriend in the face while arguing with her at her Uniondale home, violating an order of protection against him. He fled before cops arrived.

Robbery

Police believe this man on Aug. 6, 2013, was one of three who robbed and attacked a Hispanic man at Moore Avenue and Morrell Street in Hempstead, injuring the victim.

Police believe the alleged attacker is in his twenties.

Unusual/Suspicious Incident Involving Children

On Sept. 20, 2013, police said this man tried to lure two young girls who were playing in a yard on Northcote Road in Westbury, yelling at them to get into his white van. The girls ran back inside and the man drove away.

Police believe he is 40 to 50 years old and has brown hair.

Robbery

On Sept. 1, 2013, cops said this man pulled a gun on a worker at the Dunkin' Donuts at 120 E. Sunrise Highway in Valley Stream, demanding money.

Police describe him as a Hispanic man, 25 to 30 years old, 5’6” tall, medium build, having light complexion, short dark hair and dark brown eyes with a scar under the right eye. He was allegedly armed with a black semi-automatic handgun.

5. Luis Almeida
Attempted Murder

On Oct. 7, 2011 police said Almeida was in a heated argument with his girlfriend on N. Village Avenue in Rockville Centre when he tried to kill her. He allegedly tried to stab her in the stomach twice.

Grand Larceny

On April 27, 2013, cops said this man stole a pocketbook containing cash and other items from the Miss Sponge Bobs laundromat located at 2406 Grand Avenue, in Baldwin.

On Jan. 3, 2013, cops said this man and an accomplice broke into the Freeport Thrift Store. They allegedly trashed the store and stole several high-end cell phones and assorted electronics.

Grand Larceny

On Jan. 8, 2013, police said this man and an accomplice stole a wallet at the LA Fitness located at 1111 Marcus Ave. in New Hyde Park. There was $200 in the wallet.

Robbery

On Jan. 3, 2013, cops said this man hailed a taxi at the Freeport Long Island Rail Road Station and asked the driver to take him to Winston Street in Hempstead. Once the cabbie began to drive away, cops said the passenger pulled out a black handgun, pointed it at the driver's head and robbed him.

Police describe him as a Hispanic man, 5’6” tall, about 170 pounds. He was wearing a waist-length black jacket and a black knitted hat or watch cap.
